January 12 - Weekend Update
Hudson is doing great, and it was SO GOOD to see him and Matt when I arrived around lunch time today. His ANC is 5000 today and was 1700 yesterday, so he’s met his goal of 1500 twice. He has continued to need platelets every day for the last 9-10 days. There’s a chance we could be coming home as early as tomorrow, but it likely will depend on his platelet count compared to his threshold tomorrow.

January 6 - Round Update
Nap time update! Today is day +6 (day +0 being transplant day) and we’ve finally bottomed out with an ANC of 0. Up until this morning, Hudson’s nausea had been well controlled for several days, and he had been tolerating his full feed goal through the NG.

December 31 - New Year’s Update
New year, new stem cells! Hudson’s New Year’s Eve party consisted of his third and final stem cell transplant this afternoon! He was so excited that he slept right through it.

December 27 - Admission Day
Here we go again! Last round of chemo on this protocol starts in the morning, with stem cell transplant planned for Tuesday. In some ways, it’s hard to believe we’re here already. Please join us in praying in a special way for Hudson tonight and over the next several days.

December 24 - Christmas Eve Update
We got some GREAT news yesterday afternoon - Hudson’s ANC is 2,059 and his respiratory panel was negative! This means we’re good to go for admission on Friday and won’t need to be in isolation (as long as he remains healthy and without symptoms).

December 21 - Update from Home
Well, it seems that the Christmas celebration we had hoped for isn’t in the cards this year. Last night, Clare and I ended up in the ER after she had a coughing/wheezing fit and couldn’t catch her breath for around 30 minutes. Thankfully, by the time we got there and were seen, she was doing much better…
