Jesus, we trust in you. ♡

November 23 - Weekend Update
Update time! Hudson’s ANC finally bottomed out at 0 today, so now we wait for counts to climb! We are anticipating being here at least until the first week of December, but it will all depend on how his body recovers. He’s needed a few platelet transfusions and his hemoglobin was just above his threshold today, so he may need RBCs tomorrow.

November 18 - Transplant Day
Hudson is doing well so far this admission! Matt and I swapped today, and it was so so good to see my boys and give Hudson lots of snuggles! Hudson did great over the weekend. Matt said he handled the thiotepa baths fairly well (I wasn’t too sad to miss those this round).

November 14 - Next Round!
We’re hanging on tight to Mama Mary! ☺️ We had a great bonus week at home! Matt and Hudson left this afternoon for Children’s. When we were anticipating the 11/7 admission date, we had planned for Matt and I to switch for the end of this week and weekend, so Matt was already scheduled off and I already had patients scheduled.

November 11 - ANC is Up!
Dancing a little happy dance today! Hudson’s ANC is 6,000+ this morning! We’ll stop his shots and recheck labs on Wednesday, but his team feels he’ll likely be ready to start his next chemo/transplant round on Thursday evening.

November 8 - ANC Update
Hi friends! Quick carline update - Hudson and I went to clinic in St. Louis this morning and his ANC is only 409 today! No one on his team seems super alarmed by this considering the amount of chemo he had, but it feels surprising and frustrating.

November 4 - Time at Home
Whew! We’ve been busy over the last several days! Halloween festivities, Feast of All Saints, a soccer tournament, and a VERY belated birthday party for our girl Clare (postponed due to illness) have kept us moving! It’s been SO GOOD to be home as a family.
