September 11 - Time at Home
We could not be more grateful that our team gave us this week at home to recover before round two of chemo. Honestly, I think it was the best medicine to just be home for some time as a family. Hudson’s ANC reached 12,000 last week on Friday, so we were able to get out and about a bit, too. Hudson could not have been more thrilled to return to daycare for three days this week and spend time with his friends. He ran right up to his best buddy to give him a hug each morning - it was precious. I’m SO incredibly thankful for the wonderful teachers and staff at Eagle Ridge for taking such amazing care of him. We are beyond blessed to be part of this school family!
Enjoy a few pics of some highlights of our week - fair parade and fair fun with the girls, grandparents’ day for Hudson, fun just being a kid a daycare. 🥰
Hudson and I head back to St. Louis tomorrow morning to be admitted for his second round of chemo. This will be identical to the first round, so we anticipate being there from Thursday to Thursday. Please join us in prayer for a successful week - for the medication to succeed in fighting this cancer, for comfort and minimal side effects for Hudson, for complete healing. 🙏🏼
We are so incredibly thankful for the continued prayers, messages of hope, gifts of time, cards, meals, financial support - you all have and continue to lift us up and give us the ability to focus our thoughts, time, and effort on Hudson and the girls instead of the other stressors of life. We will never be able to adequately thank you all. Please just know of our gratitude.
Jesus, we trust in you. 💛
