April 10 - Day 100+
Day +100!
Today was Hudson’s 100th day post stem cell transplant, which means he can officially start participating in normal activities again. It’s a pretty sweet birthday present, if you ask me! The timing was also perfect for going to watch the girls’ spring program tonight. Hudson spent most of the show asking when it was his turn to go on stage. He always wants to be part of the action! The girls even taught him one of the songs earlier this week - we sure love our little bunnies!
Lots of people have asked - what’s next? Hudson has another brain and spine MRI (and several other tests/appointments) on May 22. We are praying for another “no evidence of disease” scan, and if this is the case, we’ll schedule surgery to remove his broviac line. With his line out, we’ll be able to have a summer full of summer things! For now, we’re going to enjoy our days at home and work and school. We’re going to soak up some normal life - and for that, we are so grateful! 💛
